The Spirit of Mugwort (Artemesia Vulgaris)

Mugwort's latin name is Artemesia Vulgaris.

Typically, mugwort is used to treat anxiety, depression, and to stimulate the menstrual cycle.

But lets get down to the nitty gritty of what it does to your brain:

Mugwort inhibits the production of enzymes that break down neurotransmitters. How? well, it increases GABA levels. GABA is a chemical that nerves use to communicate with one another. This increase in GABA level may help relieve symptoms caused by high blood pressure and diabetes. Gaba is found in the brain and in the gut.

More information will be provided soon.
